Follow Friday (2)

Q. It's circle time. Time for us to open up and share. Can you tell us FIVE quirky habits or things about you? We all have them...
  1. Sometimes if a book is driving me crazy, and I can’t figure it out I’ll read the last couple of pages, and then continue reading. (I know, I know)
  2. I actually didn’t start love reading until about three years ago.
  3. When I’m nervous I click my nails.
  4. I don’t watch TV. I know people say that but I may get in an hour a week.
  5. I was a baker and cake decorator for many years , but I don’t actually like the taste of cake.

  1. I used to do number one all the time! I HAD to know the ending, even if it didn't make sense yet so I knew the conclusion would be worth it. My mom clicks her nails when she's nervous too! It drives me crazy though lol. I watch the Vampire Diaries, if that, and that's about it. Otherwise I have no idea what's going on in the media at the moment. And that's awesome you were a baker! That's one thing I can't do, bake! Happy Friday!

  2. I couldn't read the end of a book early!
I acn understand what you mean about cake, I love baking but do it as a relaxation thing, I like having something to show for my time and love the smell but I generally give them away as I can take them or leave them.

  4. Thanks for stopping by my blog and following me! Following you now too!! I got into cake decorating April of last year and LOVE it! I just hate the whole baking part of it, haha. I don't really do it anymore because it's too time consuming. But I DO love cake...a lot!

  5. New follower, hopping through!

I used to be really bad about skipping ahead in books. I still do it at times, but most times I try to resist! I don't want TV either. I do watch Glee, when I can remember it's on, but that's about it. lol

    Happy Hopping!

  6. Hopping through and now following, too. I'm much more fond of sitting down with a good book than watching TV - though I do have a love for reality tv *blushes*.

    Take care and happy reading,

  7. I can't believe you're one of THOSE people...JK lol! I couldn't skip to the back of a book if I wanted to. I'd feel too guilty :( Believe me, it's happened before. Don't know why, but that's just how it is. Plus, cake? I love cake and I actually love watching the Food Network and seeing the cake competitions!
Thanks for following. Am going off to follow you now,

  8. Thanks for stopping by Bitten Books. I'm following your blog now too :)

I can't imagine not watching TV! I probably watch entirely too much of it though.
I skip to the end of the book way more often then I'd care to admit. I don't like investing myself into a sad book. Unless the book has at least some form of a 'happily ever after', I won't read it. I'm sure I'm missing out on a ton of amazing books but I'm just too emotional and I wouldn't find pleasure in reading if I'm always sad/crying.

  9. Looking ahead? Tsk, tsk. LOL. ;) I'm glad I have a Kindle since that kind of puts a stop to it! I also click nails when nervous! People tend not to like it, lol.

  11. New follower hopping through! I don't watch much tv either...I have an entire DVR to go through and recently deleted one whole season of a show, because I know I'll never watch it. I still have hours and hours to catch up on, including the Royal Wedding!

  12. Since I have picked up reading again I don't really watch TV either. I watch it with the man when he is home but as for alone time... BOOKS > Re-runs :)
