  2. I second Anna - Lolaaaa!!! Loved that book. Cricket Bell!! You're not the only one that didn't connect with it as much as Anna though. Quite a few of my friends didn't like it.

The Reformed Vampire Support Group was cute. Not great but cute.

I haven't read an Ann Rice novel in a looooong time.

  3. The Wolf Gift is on my TBR pile. I've been hearing mixed reviews, but I sooo want to start loving her books again.

I've never heard of The Reformed Vampire Support Group, but I love the cover. Sounds like it might be fun.

  4. Great books this week! I really want to read SOMETHING by Anne Rice eventually, I feel like I need to because she's such a famous author :) I've ALSO been meaning to read one of Stephenie's books forever! I think I've checked Anna out of the library about 5 times now but still haven't read it haha. The Reformed Vampire Support Group sounds awesome! And I love that cover, too funny :D

  9. You are cute as a button. I wish I could pull off short hair. Totally unrelated to books. Sorry.

I just got Anna and the French Kiss from the library. I feel a teensy bit pressured into it as the entire world has read it and loved it except for me. So I chuckled to see that you had Lola in your library stack. And I feel awesome that you didn't connect with Lola as much as you wanted to (sorry for being bold here) because I honestly don't LOVE contemps and I am afraid that I won't connect with Anna. I'm afraid a mob of readers from across the world will storm my house if I say so. So I'm feeling a little bit better about hearing that statement from you. I may love Anna like everyone else. Who knows? But I may not. Aaah, the stress. ;)

  10. EEEEEE! Epic mailbox! Oh goodness, Anne Rice is just... I mean, she's Anne Rice. Interview and Lestat are two of my favorite books EVER. And I've been dying to read Texas Gothic for ages. I ADORED The Splendour Falls. AND LOLA! Yay! I love-love-LOVED Anna and the French Kiss, and I've been saving Lola for when I need a bit of sunshine and happiness in my reading :D

I hear seriously fun things about the Reformed Vampire Support Group, too!

Hope you love them all! xx
