Non-Bookish Bloggy Question…

I am always getting interrupted.

I love hopping around and reading other blogs! Reading other blogs is normally how I find the next book I’ll be reading. 

My Question

Do you have other blogs you read that aren't book blogs? And what are they?


I am not changing Bending The Spine! This will ALWAYS be a book blog. I’m just curious about your other favorites out there… List anything from mom blogs, cooking, entertainment. I want to know I’m missing out onSmile

    I do - I actually have other blogs of my own that aren't book blogs (but they're more personal things that only a few select people read...)

    I read a LOT of homeschool blogs, and the occasional "Mommy Blog" --- but book blogging is the only community I'm active in.

    Well, aside from my book obsession, I am obsessed with pretty nails and pretty make up. I usually go on Pinterest (which I think is way more dangerous for me than Facebook) and I find many pretty blogs to search for inspiration.

    Those are amazing! Oh, and because I get bored easily with eating the same thing over and over, I search for cooking blogs too. Here's one that makes me drool just looking at the pics http://smells-like-home.com/

    The only blogs I read that are non bookish are family blogs. I'm thinking of reading some cooking ones, though. I want to try some new recipes this year.

    I sometimes browse other random blogs; Smitten Kitchen is a nice cooking blog, but I don't look into that one too much since I don't really cook. One of my Twitter folk started bloglabs.org, which is basically a site where you can register and post a random blog entry about anything. You can cross-post something from a regular blog you run, or if you just have something you decide you want to write about and nowhere else to put it, you can post it there. I also regularly visit STFU, Parents - people submit crazy things that have shown up on their social media feeds, posted by parent friends. It's basically a blog about parent overshare on social media.

    As well as being a bookworm I'm also a TV junkie so there are a few TV related blogs I read too. :)
