Q. It's circle time. Time for us to open up and share. Can you tell us FIVE quirky habits or things about you? We all have them...
- Sometimes if a book is driving me crazy, and I can’t figure it out I’ll read the last couple of pages, and then continue reading. (I know, I know)
- I actually didn’t start love reading until about three years ago.
- When I’m nervous I click my nails.
- I don’t watch TV. I know people say that but I may get in an hour a week.
- I was a baker and cake decorator for many years , but I don’t actually like the taste of cake.
I used to do number one all the time! I HAD to know the ending, even if it didn't make sense yet so I knew the conclusion would be worth it. My mom clicks her nails when she's nervous too! It drives me crazy though lol. I watch the Vampire Diaries, if that, and that's about it. Otherwise I have no idea what's going on in the media at the moment. And that's awesome you were a baker! That's one thing I can't do, bake! Happy Friday!

I couldn't read the end of a book early!
ReplyDeleteI acn understand what you mean about cake, I love baking but do it as a relaxation thing, I like having something to show for my time and love the smell but I generally give them away as I can take them or leave them.

I like TV but I prefer to watch boxsets than real TV.

Feel free to stop by my blog - http://thegreatthegoodandthebad.blogspot.com/
Thanks for stopping by my blog and following me! Following you now too!! I got into cake decorating April of last year and LOVE it! I just hate the whole baking part of it, haha. I don't really do it anymore because it's too time consuming. But I DO love cake...a lot!
ReplyDeleteNew follower, hopping through!
ReplyDeleteI used to be really bad about skipping ahead in books. I still do it at times, but most times I try to resist! I don't want TV either. I do watch Glee, when I can remember it's on, but that's about it. lol
Happy Hopping!
Hopping through and now following, too. I'm much more fond of sitting down with a good book than watching TV - though I do have a love for reality tv *blushes*.
ReplyDeleteTake care and happy reading,

I can't believe you're one of THOSE people...JK lol! I couldn't skip to the back of a book if I wanted to. I'd feel too guilty :( Believe me, it's happened before. Don't know why, but that's just how it is. Plus, cake? I love cake and I actually love watching the Food Network and seeing the cake competitions!
ReplyDeleteThanks for following. Am going off to follow you now,

This is a fun question. I’m learning so much about everybody and I don’t think most of us are as quirky as we think we are.
ReplyDeleteMy quirks seem normal enough. As I wrote them I woke up to the fact a lot of my quirks create inner conflicts. I’ve got a lot to think about!

Thanks for stopping by Bitten Books. I'm following your blog now too :)
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine not watching TV! I probably watch entirely too much of it though.
I skip to the end of the book way more often then I'd care to admit. I don't like investing myself into a sad book. Unless the book has at least some form of a 'happily ever after', I won't read it. I'm sure I'm missing out on a ton of amazing books but I'm just too emotional and I wouldn't find pleasure in reading if I'm always sad/crying.
Looking ahead? Tsk, tsk. LOL. ;) I'm glad I have a Kindle since that kind of puts a stop to it! I also click nails when nervous! People tend not to like it, lol.

Hopping through. I don't watch tv either. I watched tons growing up, but now I can't focus on it.

New follower hopping through! I don't watch much tv either...I have an entire DVR to go through and recently deleted one whole season of a show, because I know I'll never watch it. I still have hours and hours to catch up on, including the Royal Wedding!

Since I have picked up reading again I don't really watch TV either. I watch it with the man when he is home but as for alone time... BOOKS > Re-runs :)
