Q. If you could change the ending of any book (or series), which book would you choose? Why and to what?


Mockingjay (The Hunger Games, #3)
A) I love The Hunger Games series but there are so many things that drove me crazy and let me down in Mockingjay. I felt like in this last book she threw the characters I cared about away.

    Hopping through. Totally agree with Mockingjay. I was mad that one character died without a mention practically and the book went on and on about the other character who died that I didn't care about as much.

    I haven't read this series yet, but how awful to feel that way on the final book!! I hate when that happens, thankfully I haven't encountered it too much, but it sort of puts me off reading it. It sucks when the final book of a up-to-that-point great series, is a disappointment :(

    I've actually only read the first of the series and really disliked it and never bothered to continue on. With your comment, it almost kind of makes me glad I didn't. lol.

    Poor Mockingjay. Everyone seems to be crucifying the ending for #FF. It's making me happy that I haven't read it!

    I COMPLETELY AGREE! Mockingjay was such a let down for me! I was devastated when reading about my favorite characters dying. She didn't have to kill so many off! I think it was just lazy to do that, and it made the book way too depressing for my taste!

    I think this and Breaking Dawn are the two favourite responses for this question. That and the fact quite a few people wanted the Harry Potter series to go on ... and on...

    I haven't read the Hunger Games and I think I've seen the Mockingjay book somewhere. :) Then I read and heard that "The Hunger Games" will be taking the movie route soon, so I hope to get the copy before I watch the movie. ☺ Here's my link:http://passagesofthepen.blogspot.com/2011/09/follow-friday-2.html
