I'm not one for grusome horror movies at all. I had to watch event horison from behind a pillow when I was younger, and Hostel I watched at x2 speed and still had nightmares. No more horror movies for me! I'll stick with True Blood, that is plenty icky enough for me!
I actually don't watch horror movies, they freak me out and then I can't sleep for at least two weeks, lol. I'm such a girl ! I actually watched The Hill Has Eyes last year for Halloween with some friends but I had my hands covering my eyes for most of the movie .. Thanks for the great giveaway Rebecca :)
Now that I have kids, my favorite movies to watch around Halloween are the ones for kids. Spookley the Square Pumpkin, Garfield Halloween, It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. OK, I watched those before having kids. Who am I fooling? :D I just don't get to watch the scary ones, too, these days.
I am not a huge fan of classic horror films..Though I love creepy and suspenseful films though! :) I love Interview with a Vampire, it's really creepy and fun!
I'm really a chicken when it comes to horror movies lol I don't really like watching scary movies, because after that I'm not able to sleep for a week :D But I like watching Halloween-themed movies.
I really love the old classics from the 60's. Which are so low budget compared to today's movie blockbusters they are more comical. Nosferatu is always a good classic as is anything with the original Dracula (Boris).
Halloween is not a real holiday here in Portugal though I do celebrate it. And I don't actually watch horror movies but a nice movie with witches would be nice :)
My seventeen year old and I love to watch the silly Disney channels Halloween Town movies. We watched them together years ago and it's fun to act stupid and watch them with a pizza and candy.
I'm not really into the blood and guts type of horror movies as I'm horribly squeamish but I do have a fondness for some kitschy horror films.
ReplyDeleteAs for a favorite film for this time of year - I love The Lost Boys for its wonderful rock soundtrack, the 80s style and its sense of humor.
I'm not a fan of gory movies. But we do enjoy a good thriller/suspense movie. Our faves are The Others and The Frighteners. :)
