What do you do with all those books?

If your house is anything like ours you are overrun with books. Now I am in no way saying that this is a bad thing, but honestly there is not one room in our house that doesn’t have at least one stack of books in it.

Don’t worry no child was harmed in the making of this picture.

When you have three children and two adults who love to read and or love to be read to, well things start to stack up…(Pun intendedSmile) We have of course donated numerous books to various organizations, but on the odd occasion when I’m wanting to get creative I do searches and get on Pinterest to turn older books into new creations.

Booked Beautiful finds of the week
who knows one day I may take the time to make some of these things…

The image will take you to the website I found these crafts at.
Pumpkin made from book.
As it is now fall and soon to be Halloween I am going to try to make a few of these super cute pumpkins.

I know as the weather gets cooler I tend to read in the bath more. I think this tub would make my bath time reading quite the experience.

Who doesn’t love to look at the beautiful autumn leaves as the season changes. This is a great way to take the changes that are happening outside into the house.

  1. All though those crafts are cute..it makes me want to cry to see books torn up to make things. I just couldn't do it myself..I would rather give away my books to people to read than tear them up to make things. My friend at the library says I need to donate my books. So I have been thinking about doing just that as I have stacks and stacks of books. :)

    1. I know what you are saying. My husband made some awesome Christmas ornaments out of book pages last Christmas, but the books he used where already very beat up.
